Since the early 1800’s, Lakeview Cemetery in Patchogue has been known to be haunted, and countless ghost stories abound. The earliest graves go back as far as 1794. There are all sorts of strange stories surrounding the cemetery, and the earliest reported ghost sighting there appeared in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle in 1895.
