Haunted Long Island Mysteries – Sundance Stables, Manorville “Ride for Becca” fundraising event In-person with Joe Giaquinto
October 16 @ 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM EDT
On Saturday, October 16, at 4:00 PM, award-winning author and historian Kerriann Flanagan Brosky and medium/paranormal investigator Joe Giaquinto, will be offering a very special presentation in conjunction with a fundraiser for the Ride For Becca Foundation at Sundance Stables on North Street in Manorville.
One of the chapters is about the paranormal activity that has taken place at Sundance Stables, where eyewitnesses tell about their experiences at this beautiful stable. There is a “part 2” chapter to the Sundance story which is about Rebecca “Becca” Weissbard, an experienced and gifted horseback rider who died in a tragic riding accident on August 31, 2016. Her incredible story, along with her amazing communication from the other side, has proven that life does in fact exist after this one, and that communication with loved ones here on earth is possible.
In this special meet-and-greet, Kerriann will give a short talk on the background behind her new book and what other places she and Joe have investigated across Long Island. In addition, Kerriann will enlighten her audience by reading the two chapters about Sundance Stables and Rebecca. Kerriann and Joe Giaquinto will also discuss the remarkable communication they had with Becca during their journey working on the book, and Joe will play EVP’s (electronic voice phenomena) from their investigations. A book signing will follow the presentation.
The money raised for this event will go into the Ride For Becca Foundation, an established 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which assists riders from the ages of 10-30 who are in need of financial support and guidance/instruction to help riders with potential to fulfill their dreams. The mission statement is “Healing Horses, Hearts and Minds” with the vision of finding the connection between kids with limited opportunities and unnoticed horses to foster mutual healing.
The ticket price for this event is $40 and will include a personalized and signed copy of Haunted Long Island Mysteries. Additional books by Kerriann Flanagan Brosky will also be available for purchase with 10% of the proceeds going back into the Foundation. Light refreshments will be served. Advanced registration is not required and walk-ins are welcome.
