The Thompson house, located on North Country Road in East Setauket, was built circa 1709 and was the home to five generations of Thompsons. Listed on both the New York State and National Register of Historic Places, this five room, saltbox farmhouse was one of the largest houses in its day within the Town of Brookhaven. Perhaps the most well-known of all the Thompsons, was Samuel, who was born in 1738. Samuel was a farmer, a doctor of medicine, a captain in the Revolutionary War, and a prestigious leader in Setauket. Join Kerriann Flanagan Brosky and Joe Giaquinto as they discuss the amazing history of the Thompson family and house, along with the spirits who continue to remain there. Remarkable photos of numerous orbs will be shown, and a ghost box recording will be played.
