As a child\, Gary was no stranger to the kitchen\, having grown up immersed in his family’s restaurant\, La Vigna in Greenvale. It was here where Gary discovered his true calling to become a chef. Upon graduating from CIA\, Gary worked with some of the finest chefs in the industry including a stint at the famous Le Bernardin in New York City. His roots with the family business were deeply set and he eventually returned to La Vigna. Not long after Gary  open his own restaurant\, Bin 23 Wine Bar\, and then the popular Meridian in Locust Valley.
